When the life span of the Xerox Phaser 7800 imaging unit 106R01582 has expired (145,000 pages or less if you print in colour) an error appears on the printer, indicating that the imaging unit needs to be placed.
If the print quality is still acceptable to you, you can reset your imaging unit by sticking on our reset chip. The procedure is very easy, takes 1 minute, full instructions are provided.
The chip will not fix any print defects, or improve print quality, it simply resets the imaging unit back to zero so you can continue printing.
